From enterprise IT in Australia to a software team in Indonesia
Dedicated IT was founded by Charlie, who has worked in the IT industry since 1998. His background combines enterprise systems, web development and more than two decades of building technical teams for international clients.
1998 — Optus / IBM and Y2K
Charlie began his IT career in Australia as a contractor supporting Optus through IBM, assisting with administration work related to the Y2K transition.
Optus billing systems
He later worked as a contractor on the Optus billing environment, with responsibility related to the delivery of customer billing data.
Started a web design company in Sydney
After working in large corporate IT environments, Charlie started his own web design company in Sydney, Australia.
Built an outsourcing team in Indonesia
He later moved to Indonesia and began building a software outsourcing team, connecting skilled Indonesian developers with international clients.
Serving international clients since the year 2000
Over the years, Charlie and the Dedicated IT team have provided web, software and technical services to clients across multiple markets while building delivery capability from Indonesia.
